Modern care with old-fashioned values

At Park View, residents can expect a warm and friendly welcome with consistently high standards of care that are delivered in a ‘boutique’ and homely atmosphere.

Our passionate and highly trained staff provide 24-hour support, using a modern and purpose-built environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

Our promise

Recognised as one of the leading residential and nursing homes in Suffolk, staff at Park View work tirelessly to provide a high level of support and a standard of care that is second to none.

Our commitment to best practice is established on principles of respect and dignity, as we strive continuously to serve our residents’ emotional, physical and social needs.

Resident well-being

We take the well-being of our residents extremely seriously and understand that a person’s health and happiness must be considered in a very holistic way. To meet that demand Park View’s facilities include: a salon; cinema; therapy rooms offering aromatherapy and physiotherapy; as well as landscaped gardens and a full activities calendar.

We recognise the importance of providing excellent nutrition for older people who can often require specific dietary meal plans. All of our produce is sourced from local suppliers and is prepared in quality kitchen facilities, located on each floor of the building, which produce a range of healthy, balanced and exciting meals with a range of excellent wines.

Park View was purpose built and offers excellent catering and dining facilities. Our residents can choose to dine in one of three private dining rooms, our bistro or hospitality bar. We also offer residents excellent menus as well as a range of wines with dinner.

Park View is committed to offering a full range of activities for its residents. They can choose to spend time in any of our three lounges and Park View also has its own dedicated Activities Co-ordinator who tailors a wide programme of activities to meet the specific wishes of each resident.

We are always happy to organise trips and help residents explore the local area. Suffolk is an amazing county and we regularly help people get out.

Excellent residential care

Park View’s owners, First Care Homes, demand the highest standards from our extensively trained and professional staff.

We create personal records for each resident called a ‘Life Story’, building a picture of their specific care needs that helps us better understand their changing requirements. These were initially created for residents with dementia, who require a constant and effective network of support, however they have become so effective, we now use them for all residents who wish to take part.

Park View has been shortlisted for two GEM awards by the Suffolk Adult Safeguarding Board, and regular and rigorous inspections and audits ensure that our standards of care remain particularly high.
